The purpose of the Trinidad Volunteer Department shall be the preservation and protection of life and property from and during such fires, emergencies and/or natural disasters as may occur in the area protected by said fire department.

The Trinidad Fire Department covers 64 square miles, and we have a mutual aid with Henderson County and Kerens Fire Department.

You see firefighters on the news everyday, have you ever thought what kind of people would risk their lives for their community?
